In this installation the space is enveloped in darkness. The eye gradually becomes accustomed to it and a vague light becomes perceptible. A piece of phosphorescent material turns open and shut like the skirt of a whirling dervish. The movement is like breathing: sometimes subtle and hardly perceptible, and sometimes rapid.
