Job Koelewijn (NL, born 1962) is an artist known mainly for the unconventional methods and materials he employs in his installations. Language, sensory perception and history occupy a prominent place in his work. For example, he has been known to use artificial odours, stock cubes, soap, baby powder, spaghetti, clocks and suchlike. He has recently held solo exhibitions in De Pont, Tilburg (2008), Galerie Stella Lohaus, Antwerp (2007), De Paviljoens, Almere (2007) and the Henry Moore Foundation, Leeds (2003). He has also been represented at group exhibitions including the following: 'Future Systems: Dreaming the future in the present', Kunstmuseum, Linz (2007), 'Everywhere', Busan Biennale, Korea (2006), 'Entropy', Galerie Museum, Bolzano (2004), 'Post Natural', Venice Biennale (2001) and 'Orbis Terrarum', Museum Plantin Moretus, Antwerp (2000).
