Pianist and composer Misha Mengelberg was a co-founder of the Instant Composers Pool, the nonprofit collective of Dutch composer-improvisers-instrumentalists, with Han Bennink and Willem Breuker in 1967. He has performed in duo with Han Bennink for more than 30 years and led the ICP Orchestra for more than 20.
