Paul Robbrecht (°1950 / België, woont in Gent), architect.
Hij studeerde aan het Hoger Architectuurinstituut Sint-Lucas in Gent. In 1975 richtte hij samen met Hilde Daem een architectuurbureau op. In 2001 won hij de Cultuurprijs van de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Hij doceerde aan de Architectural Association in Londen en is docent aan de Universiteit Gent. Tot zijn meest recente projecten behoren de uitbreiding van het Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam (2003), het Concertgebouw Brugge (2002), het gebouw voor de verzameling Hauser & Wirth, St. Gallen (2000), de reconstructie van de Leopold Dewaelplaats, Antwerpen (1999) en de Aue-paviljoenen van documenta IX, Kassel (1993). Hij werkte nauw samen met beeldend kunstenaars als Gerhard Richter, Franz West en Juan Muñoz.

He studied at St Luke's Higher Institute of Architecture in Ghent. In 1975 he set up an architectural firm together with Hilde Daem. In 2001 he won the Culture Prize awarded by the Catholic University of Leuven. He has taught at the Architectural Association in London and is a lecturer at Ghent University. His most recent projects include the extension of the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam (2003), the Concert Hall in Bruges (2002), the building for the Hauser & Wirth collection, St. Gallen (2000), the reconstruction of the Leopold Dewaelplaats in Antwerp (1999) and the Aue Pavilions at Documenta IX in Kassel (1993). He collaborates closely with such artists as Gerhard Richter, Franz West and Juan Muñoz.
