Hiromi
The Trio Project
Virtuosic jazz, fusion and explosive trio energy.
Hiromi is taking her Trio Project back on tour in autumn 2026, featuring new repertoire and a fresh recording. She’s reuniting with British drummer Simon Phillips (Jeff Beck, Judas Priest, Tears for Fears, Toto, The Who). On stage, they’ll be joined by bassist James Genus (Herbie Hancock, Whitney Houston, Roy Haynes, Chick Corea, Daft Punk, Saturday Night Live).
The Japanese pianist and composer Hiromi is renowned for her virtuosic technique and explosive live energy. For over twenty years, she has been building a body of work that effortlessly moves between genres: from stride and post-bop to progressive rock, fusion, and classical influences.
This season, we welcome Hiromi back to the Blue Hall after her energetic and inspiring concert with Sonicwonder in 2024.
